Job Summary
Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living according to the patient's plan of care. Safely ambulate, transfer, and assist with passive and active range of motion exercises. Perform simple wound care, skin care, and bowel care protocols while recognizing and reporting changes in patient status. Prepare nutritional snacks and assist with pre-poured medications as directed. Collaborate with the transdisciplinary team, attend care conferences, and participate in quality improvement activities. Complete all charting, timesheets, and mileage logs. Maintain transmission-based precautions and provide basic caregiving education to family members.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write English proficiently
- Must be state tested nursing assistant in good standing
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must provide an active auto insurance policy as a licensed driver in the State of Ohio with the proper level of coverage as directed
- Must provide an active driver's license
- Must comply with Annual Flu Shot Policy or provide exemption documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration
