Job Summary
Provide personal care and assist with ADLs according to the patient's plan of care. Safely ambulate, transfer, and assist with ROM exercises as directed by the nurse. Prepare nutritional snacks and perform simple wound, skin, and bowel care protocols where appropriate. Recognize and promptly report changes in patient status, record activities and observations in clinical documents, and complete charting, timesheets, and mileage logs. Collaborate with the transdisciplinary team, attend care conferences and staff meetings, and participate in the on-call rotation. Provide basic caregiving education to family members and maintain transmission-based precautions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write English proficiently
- Must be state tested nursing assistant in good standing
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be able to provide an active auto insurance policy as a licensed driver in the State of Ohio with the proper level of coverage as directed
- Must provide an active driver's license
- Must comply with Annual Flu Shot Policy or provide exemption documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration
