Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments to keep machines running smoothly. Inspect finished products against standards, troubleshoot minor issues to maintain production flow, and work as part of a team to hit daily goals. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. No prior bindery experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation skills. Full-time 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) Monday through Friday with overtime pay and a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
