Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and troubleshooting minor issues to keep production moving. Adjust machines for smooth runs, inspect finished products against standards, and work as part of a team to hit daily production goals. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety procedures. No bindery experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation skills. Second shift Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with overtime pay after 40 hours and an 8% shift incentive. Eligible for a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
