Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and troubleshooting minor issues to keep production moving. Adjust machines to maintain smooth operations and inspect finished products against standards. Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean workspace. No prior bindery experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation skills. 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with overtime pay and a hiring bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
