Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments. Keep production moving by troubleshooting minor issues and working as a team to hit daily goals. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet standards and follow safety procedures to maintain a clean workspace. This role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read basic instructions, and reliable attendance on the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. No prior bindery experience is needed as training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
