Stitcher-Ink Jet Operator

Job Summary
Set up, operate and maintain the Ink Jet Stitcher and Saddle Stitcher to meet production goals in a print production environment. Responsibilities include reviewing job tickets, ordering materials, running production, downloading data to the Ink-Jet controller, training and coordinating assistant operators, maintaining quality and productivity, adhering to safety policies, proper hazardous waste handling, and performing additional duties as assigned. Requires troubleshooting ability, teamwork, flexibility to work overtime, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; shifts include a 12-hour front-half day schedule (7a-7p) with potential shift premiums for nighttime work. Located in Sheridan, OH with additional Atwater, OH posting; both sites are on-site roles within the printing/bindery operations. Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible
- Must be able to troubleshoot machine malfunctions
- Must work well with others
- Must be flexible and open to change
- Must follow instructions
- Must be a proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
- Shift: Front Half Day (FHD) Sunday – Tuesday and e/o Wednesday 7a – 7p
