Job Summary
Conduct weekly one-hour visits with an elderly lady who enjoys knitting, crocheting, and sharing stories about crafts and life experiences. Engage in meaningful conversation in English or Macedonian to provide companionship and help reduce feelings of isolation. Visit between 9am and 4pm, Monday through Sunday, with flexible scheduling for a 30-minute to one-hour session. This role supports HammondCare's Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, funded by the Australian Government, connecting elderly residents with the local community.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
