Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHS) is developing a talent pool of current BPS staff to provide compensatory counseling services outside of the school day. BHS counselors will be responsible for scheduling sessions, providing counseling in accordance with students' IEPs, tracking services in Edplan, and completing IEP progress reports. Counselors are expected to work a minimum of 2-4 hours and a maximum of 20 hours weekly, and may be compensated for travel and additional planning time at the BTU hourly rate.
Required Qualifications
- Currently working in Boston Public Schools
- Appropriate licensure
