Job Summary
Field Service Engineer to diagnose and rectify faults on STILL forklifts and related material-handling equipment at customer sites across the Derby area, undertaking preventative maintenance on equipment from pallet trucks to automated trucks. Role includes driving a company van, on-call support paid in addition to salary, and access to ongoing manufacturer training. Candidates should have experience in mechanical or electrical engineering (hydraulics welcome), NVQ3 or equivalent preferred, IT-literate, and hold a full UK driving licence. responsibilities include fault finding, servicing, maintenance, and providing onsite support to customers with a focus on reliability and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
- Experience in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or hydraulics
- Experience with forklift trucks and material handling equipment (pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA trucks, automated trucks) or similar equipment
- Ability to diagnose, rectify faults and perform preventative maintenance at customer sites
