Job Summary
Still Life Photographer for Gap Platform Photo Studio leading high-volume production of branded product photography assets. Partner with Sr. Manager of Photography and cross-functional teams (Account Managers, Art Directors, Stylists) to execute on-brand photography and video that aligns with seasonal vision, drive production goals, and improve studio processes. Lead laydown and on-set teams, troubleshoot on-set challenges, create process documentation, and develop techniques and best practices for shooting new categories while ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics and metrics. Candidates should demonstrate strong lighting, on-set direction, color management, and proficiency with industry tools; able to work in a fast-paced e-commerce studio and deliver high-quality images under tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in photography or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in hi-volume commercial photography studio with professionally respected photographers
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a commercial photographer
- Professional photography portfolio demonstrating expert-level knowledge of digital photography including lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, e-commerce setting and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Account Managers, Art Directors, Stylists)
- Experience with photo production techniques including laydown product and marketing photography across categories including sport photography
- High proficiency with Photoshop and Capture One; strong color management skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
