Job Summary

Drive power equipment sales to meet and exceed department goals while assisting in setting sales and margin objectives. Perform equipment repairs in an organized, timely manner, prepare accurate billing for each repair, and maintain a reliable warranty reimbursement process. Educate associates on power equipment features, safety requirements, and selling techniques, including mentoring Silver and Bronze Technicians. Create and execute promotions, in-store events, and demonstrations to grow contractor and commercial sales. Check in invoices, verify serial numbers, maintain inventory integrity, and ensure the department remains clean and efficiently laid out. Work scheduled Saturdays as part of regular responsibilities, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of STIHL training through Gold Certification or equivalent (or active progress toward certification).
  • Strong understanding of power equipment systems including e-service, e-sales, warranty processing, parts lookup, product registration, and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers, associates, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with high attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and staying informed on industry and product trends.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk
  • Ability to bend, kneel, or reach

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency with retail computer systems; MS Word and Excel experience preferred.
