Job Summary
Coordinate Quality System activities at job sites to ensure all work meets regulatory, customer, and Company quality requirements. Review disassembly/assembly procedures, code requirements, and customer specifications while inspecting permanent materials and in-progress work. Establish testing requirements, hold points, and compile quality documentation; schedule inspections with subcontractors and customer representatives. Verify welder qualifications, provide vendor surveillance, and complete applicable forms. Work independently in a petrochemical/refinery environment with variable hours, over-time, and extensive travel throughout the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of petrochemical/refinery industry
- Required knowledge of Quality System standards
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Class A driver's license
- Clean MVR
- Valid TWIC
- Basic Plus training
- Confined Space training
- Ability to read, write, and understand communication including directions, instructions, and warning signs
- Ability to maintain poise and focus under time constraint and adverse conditions
- Ability to pass all required drug/alcohol testing
- Ability to successfully pass a pulmonary function test (PFT)
- Ability to be fit tested for various respirators
- Ability to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, stand, sit, and demonstrate hand strength and dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift more than 51 pounds
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to climb ladders and stairways
- Ability to work off platforms
- Ability to work in cold working conditions during winter months
- Ability to work in hot working conditions during summer months

- Ability to work with employees who will be required to be fit tested for the various respirators used

- Ability to work with employees who will be required to assure all work meets regulatory, customer and Company quality requirements
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to interact with customer representative(s) on all hold and inspection points
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to review disassembly/assembly procedures, customer specifications and Code requirements
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to establish testing requirements, hold points (client inspection), and compile any required quality documentation for the project
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to ensure that the project was executed in accordance with code/jurisdictional requirements, customer specifications and Company specifications
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to schedule inspections and examinations with subcontractors and customer representative
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to inspect all permanent materials
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to inspect and examine of in-progress work to ensure that activities meet applicable code/jurisdictional, customer specification and requirements of the Company
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to complete and sign applicable forms as instructed by Company
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to ensure welders qualifications are current and meet requirements
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to provide vendor surveillance as needed and directed
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to follow all Company Safety, Quality Control/ Quality Assurance procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to see, read, write, and understand communication including directions, instructions, and warning signs
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to maintain poise and focus under time constraint and adverse conditions
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to attend and complete trainings as required by the Company and client

- Ability to work with employees who will be required to work in a project- based position
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have typical days and hours of work that are variable/ project dependent
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have over-time work that is common and may be required as job duties demand
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have extensive travel throughout U.S. and overnight stay for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to hold a class A driver's license

- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have 12 months quality and inspection experience in related industry
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have a valid TWIC
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to be Certified ISO 9001
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have AWC-CWI/CAWI certification
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have API 510- Pressure Vessels certification
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have API 570- Piping certification
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have API 653- Storage Tanks certification
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have ASNT SNT-TC-IA Level II- Film Interpretation (RT) certification
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have ASNT SNT-TC-IA Level II- Penetrant Testing (PT) certification
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have ASNT SNT-TC-IA Level II- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) certification
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have ASNT SNT-TC-IA Level II- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification
- Ability to work with employees who will be required to have OSHA 10/30 training
