Job Summary
Wash, stack, and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers in correct racks while maintaining the dish area clean and clutter-free. Change dishwashing machine and sink water as required, refresh sanitation buckets, and organize empty racks and bus tubs. Maintain floors clean and dry throughout the shift, remove full trash cans, and assist with cleaning grills and mopping floors prior to ending the shift. Support food deliveries, assist in food prep as requested by the chef, and comply with Health and Safety processes while reporting hazards promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) years of experience in same or similar positions in the Food & Beverage industry
- Food Handlers Certification(s)
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing and completing assigned job tasks effectively
- Read and write (English)
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently meet deadlines and produce work in a timely manner
- Ability to elicit and accept constructive feedback
- Communicate verbally with staff
- Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions
- Visually inspect all work areas
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally, 35 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly
- Must be able to move objects such as dish trays, delivery, bucket of water, and mopping
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual oral, speech, and writing skills in and additional language is an asset in this position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey messages clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar
- Strong presentation skills; convey messages clearly and confidently; persuade and effect change positively
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
