Job Summary

Stewarding Supervisor responsible for supporting Banquet, Main Kitchen, and BOH stewarding operations with sanitation, staffing, equipment, and daily execution. Duties include washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes and equipment, maintaining cleanliness of designated areas, attending BEO meetings, stocking and organizing areas, and adapting to additional BOH roles as needed. Requires standing/mobility for extended periods, ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and strong organizational/communication skills. English proficiency is required; bilingual ability is a plus. Reports to Banquet Chef and Executive Sous Chef in a luxury hotel setting (The National, Autograph Collection) in Oklahoma City.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Some consistent work history in a banquet Kitchen setting
  • Must be able to listen and speak English to fully comprehend instructions both written and verbal
  • Must be able to lift at least 80 pounds, push heavy carts, and handle kitchen equipment
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Interpersonal/teamwork skills and ability to maintain high confidentiality
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all departments
  • Experience supporting Banquet, Main Kitchen, and BOH operations and maintaining sanitation standards
