Job Summary
The Steward at the University of Georgia will maintain a clean kitchen environment by washing and organizing dishes and equipment, prepping food, and keeping the workspace organized. Additional responsibilities include changing water in machines, removing trash, and assisting in food prep as requested. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in a kitchen. Candidates should possess strong teamwork skills and the ability to adapt and communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications

- Working in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience working in a kitchen or as a steward
- Customer service experience
- ServSafe Certified
- Live within 25 miles of UGA campus
Additional Requirements
- Must possess the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up-to 40 pounds
- Flexibility to work events, weekends, nights, and holidays
