Job Summary
Steward for SUZU Hospitality responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, dish, and storage areas to ensure health-code compliance. Responsibilities include cleaning kitchen and dish areas, operating dish machines, stocking and organizing supplies, waste and recycling management, and supporting back-of-house operations. Requires dependable, hardworking, and organized presence with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment; ServSafe/food-handler certification is a plus or obtainable. Opportunities for growth into Lead Steward and Prep Cook roles. Competitive hourly pay between $13.00–$18.00 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of kitchen, steward, or dish experience
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and physical stamina
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization
- ServSafe / food-handler certification a plus (or ability to obtain)
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to support the BOH
