Job Summary
The Kitchen Steward (Dishwasher) maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen workspace under supervision, coordinates materials and equipment, and supports safety and training efforts. Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation levels, inventory of supplies, ensuring proper use of floor markers, providing equipment and safety supplies (gloves, goggles, chemicals), verifying equipment functionality, training kitchen staff on safety and chemical usage, upholding Health Department standards, and able to move/push carts up to 50 lbs. Requires physical activity, ability to comprehend product labeling for safe chemical application, completion of Serve Safe training, and successful background check and drug screening. Must be flexible to work any day/shift and possess or obtain a valid drivers and gaming license. 18+ years old; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year kitchen cleaning experience
- Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to obtain Serve Safe training
