Job Summary
Provide a clean and safe kitchen environment as a Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher. Wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment; maintain an organized dish room; restock the employee cafeteria; assist with opening/closing checklists; support chefs and Food & Beverage leadership; uphold hygiene standards and contribute to a collaborative kitchen team. Requires ability to operate dish machines, manage dishware inventory, and work in a fast-paced restaurant setting with occasional overtime. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and effective communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced kitchen
- Ability to operate dish machines according to company and manufacturer specifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work unsupervised
- Must be able to follow directions and ask questions for clarification when needed
- Basic English comprehension
- Regular attendance and ability to work overtime as required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
