Job Summary
The Steward works with the culinary team to clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, pots, pans, utensils, and work areas to ensure total guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, properly storing cleaned equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and collecting trash. Ideal candidates demonstrate a passion for hospitality and are expected to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. Previous kitchen experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a kitchen worker preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Additional Requirements
- Flexible to work variable days of the week to include weekends and holidays
- Flexible to work variable shifts (days, nights, overnights)
- Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to push and pull equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
- Ability to stand during entire shift
