Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, and trash compactor. Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, knives, and equipment using detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock while ensuring clean wares are stored in appropriate areas. Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing, and rack and spray all racked items with hot water to remove food residue. Break down dirty bus tubs, empty and maintain trashcans, and dispose of glass in proper containers. Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments, break down cardboard boxes, and sort recyclables. Follow all company and safety policies, report maintenance needs and accidents, and complete safety training. Move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
