Job Summary
Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and glassware using dishwashing machines or manual methods to maintain hygiene standards. Operate equipment and organize cleaned items in designated areas for seamless kitchen operations. Keep floors, walls, counters, and equipment spotless while collecting, disposing of, and sanitizing trash and recycling. Deliver clean plates and essentials to service areas promptly and monitor cleaning supply inventory. Report broken equipment and use chemicals safely following all established procedures and food handling guidelines. Work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support culinary, banquet, and outlet teams.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in kitchen, cleaning, or hospitality-related work
- Must have multi-tasking skills
- Must have internal/external customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting heavy items, standing for long periods, and operating cleaning equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Must be able to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for nights
- Must be available for holidays
- Must attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
- Must be able to report broken or malfunctioning equipment promptly
- Must be able to use cleaning chemicals safely and follow all established safety procedures
- Must be able to adhere to health and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling practices
- Must be able to follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards
