Job Summary
Clean and sanitize plateware, silverware, glassware, pots & pans, utensils, equipment, and work area in a timely manner. Set up work station, fill dish machine, check chemical levels, presoak and gather equipment for stations. Operate dishwasher per manufacturer specs and place clean dishes in storage. Clean designated equipment (hoods, filters, steam tables, etc.), dispose of kitchen waste properly, and monitor equipment condition. Inform supervisor of hazards. Empty trash and transport to dump sites, follow recycling regulations. Set up pot sink and monitor chemicals and water temperature. Sweep/mop floors after meals/spills. Promote teamwork and quality service through coordination with Catering, Banquets, Outlets, and Maintenance. May assist with other duties. Requires basic reading/writing/math skills; ability to lift up to 75 pounds; stand/walk for long periods; read chemical/machine labels; may work nights/weekends/holidays. Mount Pocono, PA location.
