Job Summary
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly while maintaining cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas. Operate dishwashing equipment safely, perform basic cleaning tasks including floors and waste disposal, and ensure proper storage of clean items. Support chefs by providing clean tools, take out garbage, and assist with receiving deliveries. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines while standing for up to eight hours daily and lifting up to 30 lbs. This role requires shift work including late nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or similar environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good physical stamina; able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals
- Requires standing for extended periods and repetitive motion
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours/day
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
- The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, overnight, weekends and holidays
