Job Summary
Ensure kitchens, freezers, bars, and storage areas remain clean, sanitized, and organized at all times. Operate pot-washing machinery, wash, wipe, sort, and stack dishes while loading and unloading the dishwasher. Deliver clean china, glassware, silverware, and cookware to service stations. Empty, clean, and disinfect drains and grease traps; sweep, mop, and dispose of trash following established procedures. Check chemical levels, inventory supplies, and equipment working order. Remove broken items from circulation and update the breakage register. Report maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor. Adhere to MSDS guidelines for safe chemical use and department policies. Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment with high energy and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Must be very detailed oriented
- High energy level
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Knowledge and proficiency to operate industrial dish washers
- Must be capable of following directions
- Must possess good recall and memory
