Job Summary
Set up and break down the dish machine and dish landing area, performing de-liming and ensuring all dishes, pots, pans, and small wares are cleaned and sanitized per health regulations. Maintain general cleanliness of the back of house, including tables, shelves, walls, floors, cooler areas, and loading docks, while following sanitary procedures for food and waste disposal. Assist with special event setup, food storage upon deliveries, and bussing tables during lunch service. Remove trash throughout the day and adhere to dietary, sanitary, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines. Complete all meetings, in-services, and mandatory training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment and supplies over 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and move intermittently throughout the workday
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting
