Job Summary
Manage daily kitchen utility operations, including dish room, night cleaning, and banquet plating. Order supplies, schedule staff and events, and conduct inventories of china, glass, silver, and food. Supervise employees on loss prevention, safety procedures, and sanitation compliance while enforcing proper equipment use. Monitor performance, address accidents, and communicate with executives to ensure guest satisfaction and budget adherence. Recruit, train, and manage team members to achieve departmental goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
