Job Summary
Steward responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and back-of-house areas, operating dish and pot-washing equipment, and following Health Department regulations and brand standards. Key duties include keeping floors dry and clean, collecting and disposing of trash per procedure, cleaning dishes and equipment, sanitizing walk-ins and surfaces, maintaining storage areas, adhering to SDS for chemical safety, reporting hazards, and supporting food distribution for venues/events. Requires strong teamwork, reliability, attention to detail, ability to work quickly and accurately, and effective English communication. Education: High School diploma or equivalent; sanitation certification desirable. Location: Los Angeles, CA. Compensation: $32.75/hour with schedule based on seniority; eligible for hotel benefits and development programs. Visa requirement: must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
