Job Summary
Respond to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, and perform repairs on basic medical sterilizer equipment while executing planned maintenance (PM) to drive customer satisfaction. Diagnose issues using written, oral, or diagram instructions and communicate technical findings clearly to customers. Utilize office software and technological tools like iPads and iPhones for service documentation. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field travel. Requires high school or GED completion, with an associate degree in electrical, electronic, or biomedical fields preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School /GED completion
- Valid drivers license
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Must have basic knowledge office software and technological tools (ipad, iPhone, etc.)
- Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Desired Qualifications
- Possess associates degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent from two year college or technical school in electrical, electronic or biomedical fields
- Electronics, IT or air conditioning/refrigeration or experience maintaining HVAC, electrical, building maintenance, medical equipment in a hospital environment or similar field service work
