Job Summary
Perform equipment sterilization functions in ABI manufacturing using cGMP techniques to clean, prepare, and sterilize small equipment for Media Prep, Bacterial, and Viral production. Process and clean portable tanks, demonstrate good housekeeping practices, and accurately complete process-specific documentation while following Standard Operating Procedures. Use appropriate PPE including respirators, respond to customer requests for supplies and information, and apply cGMP to assigned work while reading MSDS guidelines. Work Monday through Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm, with overtime, weekends, and holidays potentially required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely
- Manual dexterity using hands and fingers
- Constant standing for extended periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Working knowledge of metric system
- Ability to recognize product quality issues based on company guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Authorization to work in the US
