Job Summary
Sterilize and reprocess all dental instruments in full compliance with CDC and OSHA infection control guidelines. Maintain the sterilization area and lab in an organized, regulation-compliant state by assessing data and completing required reporting. Manage instrument and supply inventory to ensure dentists and assistants have necessary items without delays. Perform safety inspections and routine maintenance on sterilization equipment. Dispense and collect supplies efficiently across the practice. This entry-level role offers a starting pay of $18+/hr with medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) benefits, plus up to 80 hours of paid vacation. We provide comprehensive training for the right person.

- Communication with Supervisor: although part of a team, many duties are independent. Ensure you are effectively communicating with practice leadership to receive needed support.
- Lifting and carrying dental instrument trays (up to 5 lbs) routinely, and incoming supply shipments (up to 20 lbs) occasionally
- Routine handling of dental materials and chemicals used in operatory or laboratory settings, which may include latex, acrylic, glutaraldehyde, and similar agents
- Ability to sit or stand for short, intermittent, and/or extended periods throughout the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Prior sterilization, infection control, or clinical support experience in any healthcare or dental setting
- Experience working with children of varying ages and abilities, including individuals with special needs
- Prior maintenance or technical skills
