Job Summary
Sterilization Technician at Castle Family Dentistry responsible for cleaning, sterilizing dental equipment, delivering sterile supplies, retrieving contaminated items, and preparing autoclaved instruments for trays used in examinations, surgeries, and procedures. Maintains inventory, monitors sterilized tools, records sterilization procedures, and ensures the sterilization zone remains at optimal levels. Supports back-office procedures, assists in procedures, and helps provide a high-quality patient experience. Requires attention to detail, critical thinking, ability to work under pressure, and adherence to infection-control standards. On-site, Washington, NJ location with PTO, benefits, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Certificate in sterile processing and distribution (preferred)
- Proof of up-to-date immunizations
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Great attention to detail
- Good critical thinking and judgment
- Ability to handle sensitive equipment
- OSHA/compliance awareness
- Strong vigilance and meticulous care
