Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician at Memorial Community Hospital (Blair, NE) responsible for cleaning, assembling, processing, and sterilizing surgical instruments per policy and IFUs; perform equipment testing and maintain logs; assist with case cart assembly and OR turnover; participate in HLD and cleaning of GI scopes/TEE probes; adhere to OSHA requirements and universal precautions; contribute to department initiatives and supply management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of sterile processing experience preferred
- Certification not required but preferred: CRCST
- CSPDS
- CSPDT
- CSPDT-CSBSD
