Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician performs decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilizing, tracking, storing, and distributing reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment according to established standards; ensures safety and quality of items processed via disassembly, inspection, decontamination; handles assembly/packaging for sterilization and high-level disinfection of instrumentation and endoscopes per instruction for use; records daily quality checks and adheres to AAMI standards; position based in ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Neenah, WI, 40 hours/week, nights, with 1.0 FTE.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Sterile Processing Certification (preferably HSPA) within one year of hire
