Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician in Surgical Services will be responsible for the decontamination and processing of surgical instruments and equipment. This role includes distributing reprocessed instruments, cleaning and packaging trays, maintaining inventory, and ensuring sterilization compliance. Candidates should have a CRCST certification, be able to demonstrate effective teamwork and communication, and have training or experience in central service operations. The position is part-time, with a per diem schedule requiring variable shift availability.
Required Qualifications
- On the job or formal training as a central service technician over 30 days or up to 3 months
- Current CRCST Certification
- High School graduate or equivalency

- Must meet regular attendance standards
- Must stay at or below average sick leave utilization levels
