Sterile Processing Technician - Paid Training Program

Operate sterilization equipment, disassemble carts for decontamination, and sterilize surgical instruments while maintaining inventory records and tracking all items. Assemble cleaned instruments, recheck for cleanliness, and transport supplies to the operating room, responding promptly to emergency trauma cases. Communicate equipment status with Central Processing and Surgery Charge Nurses, utilizing technology to document compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide on-the-job training to new associates and adhere to Intermountain Health's mission, vision, and service behavior standards. This role requires flexibility for days, nights, and weekends, with potential overtime, on-call rotation, and float to other departments.
