Job Summary
Clean and decontaminate medical equipment, prepare sterile procedure trays, and operate steam and low-temperature sterilizers. Maintain sterile and clean storage areas, answer phones, deliver requested items, and complete all required documentation. Lead departmental meetings, projects, and workflows as needed, while participating in staff and student training programs. Assume accountability for quality performance and safety behaviors, representing the department professionally at all times. Requires six years of sterile processing experience, Central Sterile Processing certification, and Instrument Specialist certification.
Required Qualifications
- Six years of sterile processing experience
- Certification in Central Sterile Processing
- Certification as Instrument Specialist (CIS)

- High school diploma or equivalent
