Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician III needed in Ft. Thomas, KY. Leads daily sterile processing operations including cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, and tray assembly of instruments per established standards. Trains staff, monitors performance, leads special projects, and supports cost-effective operations. Requires certification (CRCST or CSPDT), a High School diploma, and two years of Sterile Processing experience. Knowledge of perioperative instrumentation, AAMI standards, and SGNA/JCAHO guidelines is required. Endoscopy experience is noted as optional in department-specific contexts. This is a full-time, second-shift role within the Ft. Thomas Sterile Processing department.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- CRCST or CSPDT certification
- Two years Sterile Processing experience
- Knowledge of perioperative instrumentation, sterilization, and AAMI standards
- Knowledge of Joint Commission and AORN Standards
- SGNA Guidelines competency (if Endoscopy Department)
