Job Summary
Provides on-site support for reprocessing surgical instruments and trays in compliance with health standards, using developed skills for scheduled and unscheduled tasks. Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and storage processes. Operates machinery within the department, assists in training new employees, and ensures equipment availability for customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of SPD or relatable experience and CRCST/CSPDT or CST certification required or 2 years of experience with certification within 12 months of hire
