Job Summary
Assemble, distribute, and store supplies and equipment while retrieving dirty equipment to provide general sterile processing services within the hospital. Manage and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment, utilizing varied decontamination and sterilization equipment. Obtain IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification within one year of hire. Must be able to work Mondays, Thursdays, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Must obtain IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification within one year of hire
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work with varied decontamination and sterilization equipment
- Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job
- Must be able to work Mondays, Thursdays, holidays and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
