Perform decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of trays, instruments, supplies, and equipment following infection control practices; dispense equipment as needed; maintain accurate records and department inventory usage; build case carts and respond to requests from surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare sterile processing preferred
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Ability to perform decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Inventory management and record-keeping
- Case cart assembly and readiness for surgery
