Job Summary
Decontaminate and prepare surgical inventory according to precise manufacturer instructions and rigorous safety standards. Inspect, assemble, and validate instrument sets with precision, taking ownership of quality checks and repairs so surgical teams have complete, reliable tools ready in the operating room. Operate and monitor advanced sterilization equipment to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and infection control across all surgical containers. Build accurate surgical case carts by proactively managing inventory levels and tracking instrument sets, ensuring smooth operating room workflows and zero surgical delays. Participate in peer quality assurance audits to elevate team performance and foster a collaborative culture of continuous learning. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM)
- Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
