Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment while receiving and inventorying departmental supplies, instrumentation, and equipment. Clean, decontaminate, scan, assemble, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment according to Manufacturer Instructions for Use and prescribed procedures. Operate departmental equipment safely, perform quality control monitoring and documentation, and conduct environmental sterility and safety testing. Provide occasional guidance to entry-level co-workers and ensure all activities comply with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies.
