STERILE PROCESSING TECH - STERILE PROCESSING - FT DAYS (61367)

Responsible for cleaning, assembling and sterilizing all instruments and equipment for all patient care areas of the hospital. Retrieve all supplies and equipment as needed from patient care areas and return to Sterile Processing. Operate cleaning and sterilization equipment in the department according to manufacturers recommendations. Effectively communicates, both written and verbal, with co-workers. Work hours or shifts may be changed as necessary in order to provide adequate staffing for the department. Education Level: High School diploma or equivalent; CRCST certification required within one year of hire; Sterile Processing experience preferred. This is a Full Time role based in Maryville, IL.
