Sterile Processing Tech III

Assess, troubleshoot, and make recommendations for trauma and tertiary care surgical procedures while demonstrating knowledge of the entire sterilization process, infection control, and aseptic technique. Lead the sterile processing team and act as a mentor, assuming the manager's role during absences. Distribute instrument trays for surgical case carts based on surgeon preferences and participate in daily record keeping and monitoring of sterilization processes. Conduct orientation for new team members and serve as a patient advocate regarding the safest sterilization methods for all instrumentation.
