Job Summary
Perform cleaning, inspections, and sterilization techniques based on established standards to ensure instruments are clean, complete, function correctly, and are sterile. Maintain all instrument sets and working knowledge of configurations while documenting sterilization processes in log books. Carefully use supplies and liners to facilitate quality care and cost efficiency. Act as a preceptor to new employees, seek additional education opportunities, and participate in plans to improve teamwork or resolve conflict. Provide excellent customer service and model organizational values. Work evening shifts from 4pm to 11pm. Must be HIPAA compliant and possess the ability to obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
