Sterile Processing Tech Certified

Promote improved quality and patient safety in the OR by ensuring efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department. Perform routine tasks relating to decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies, while monitoring sterilization equipment. Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards. Monitor, instruct, and mentor non-certified staff to facilitate department preparation for survey and regulatory assessments. This role requires CRCST or CSPDT certification upon hire or transfer, a high school diploma, and the ability to exert up to 50lbs force occasionally. Located at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, a Level I Trauma Center with Magnet designation.
