Provide continuous flow of sterile, reusable supplies, equipment, and surgical instrumentation requiring centralized collection, inspection, decontamination, assembly, preparation, disinfection, sterilization, and monitoring to hospital areas with occasional guidance. Maintain a safe, clean, orderly work environment while receiving and inventoring departmental supplies, instrumentation, and equipment. Clean and decontaminate instrumentation according to MIFU and departmental policies, then scan, assemble, and prepare items for sterilization following prescribed procedures. Perform, document, and monitor all quality control tools while operating departmental equipment safely and effectively. Conduct environmental sterility and safety demonstrations, perform qualification testing, and manage inventory control to ensure longevity of containment devices. Work the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm) Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends every 7th or 8th weekend.
