Sterile Processing Supervisor, 40 Hours, Days

Directs and supervises all aspects of Sterile Processing Department services at UMass Memorial Health. Responsibilities include leading and evaluating staff, scheduling, orientation and training, and making recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Supervises SPD operations across decontamination, processing, instrument assembly, sterilization, and case cart management; ensures the effective functioning of equipment and timely actions to correct issues. Oversees documentation such as sterilizer printouts and BI incubator logs for SPD and operating rooms, and ensures compliance with required records. Requires Monday–Friday days with on-call duty and weekend coverage; stands as a seasoned SPD supervisor with strong instrument knowledge, inventory and cart management, and proficient communication and computer skills.
