Sterile Processing Staff Educator - TOSH

Conduct staff education, training, and competency assessments for various sterile processing areas, including instrumentation and endoscopes. Ensure reprocessing activities comply with departmental policies, State Health Department rules, JCAHO standards, and AORN guidelines. Provide accurate documentation regarding staff performance and maintain access to Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Data Sheets. Collaborate with Infection Prevention on rounds and tracer studies involving reusable medical equipment. Promote positive customer relations and teamwork within the Sterile Services leadership team.
